Systemic Designer, Strategist, Dr.-Ing.
Marco is an independent design researcher and strategist. Working from a systemic design perspective, he keeps transition processes workable in cities, schools and organisations, translating concerns into shared futures. As principal investigator of the MCube project AQT at the Technical University of Munich, he spent three years on car-reduced neighbourhoods with residents, the city administration and politicians. His doctorate, Reframing Mobility (TUM, 2026), grew out of this work. In 2018 he co-founded überkochen e.V., which creates new learning experiences with mobile kitchens in around 150 schools across Germany. He also works on responsible innovation and teaches design. He originally trained as an industrial designer.Let’s connect
